About Empower Rehabilitation & Wellness

Physical therapy that comes to you.

We're Jaime and Paul Pierson, a husband-and-wife team of Doctors of Physical Therapy. We started Empower because we kept seeing the same thing: people with a generic handout of exercises and a lot left on the table. They deserved more, and so did their families.

So we built the kind of practice we'd want for our own loved ones.

Here's what that looks like:

  • We come to you. Therapy happens in your home, on your stairs, in your bathroom, and in the kitchen you actually use.

  • One-on-one, every visit. You see the same therapist every time, never a rotating door of strangers.

  • Unhurried care. Longer sessions mean real progress, not rushing to the next patient.

  • Family is welcome. We'll teach the people who love you how to help, too.

  • A plan built around your goals. Whether that's walking to the mailbox, getting back on the golf course, or playing with your grandkids.

We proudly serve parts of Gloucester, Camden, Burlington, and Atlantic counties, and we're in network with Medicare Part B.

Jaime Pierson, PT, DPT

Your stroke, Parkinson's & balance specialist

Hi, I'm Jaime! I fell in love with neurologic physical therapy during my very first clinical rotation at a Parkinson's clinic, and I've been hooked ever since. I love helping people get back to the things that make them feel like themselves, and I'm happy to bring family members into every step.

When I'm not with patients, you'll find me on a baking spree, cooking a new dish, playing with my daughter, exercising, or picking up a new hobby. I'm a lifelong learner, in and out of the clinic.

I bring six-plus years of experience in hospitals, home health, skilled nursing, and outpatient clinics. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2020.

Your pain, orthopedic & sports recovery specialist

Hi, I'm Paul. Before physical therapy, I worked in construction. I felt firsthand what hard physical work does to a body, and I wanted a career where I could help people feel better. So I went back to school and never looked back.

As a former high school wrestler, I know what it feels like to push your body, and what it feels like when it hurts. I love helping people who have been told to "just live with" their pain discover they can move with confidence again. I explain things in plain language, so you and your family always know the why behind your plan.

Outside of work, you'll find me hiking, snowboarding, playing pickup basketball, or trying to keep up with our daughter.

I bring eight years of experience in hospitals, home health, skilled nursing, and outpatient clinics. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2018.
