In-Home Neurologic Physical Therapy in South Jersey
Move forward. Regain confidence. Reclaim your independence.
Living with a neurological condition changes how you move and how you get through your day. We bring one-on-one neurologic physical therapy to your home, built around your goals, not just your diagnosis.
Is this you?
You or a loved one had a stroke and still has goals after leaving rehab or home health
Walking feels slow, shuffling, or unsteady, or your feet seem to "freeze" in doorways
Fatigue or heat wipes you out, and your legs feel heavy by the afternoon
Life changed after a brain injury, and everyday tasks feel harder than they should
You're living with a spinal cord injury and want more independence at home
You've been told you've "plateaued," but you don't feel finished
Conditions we treat
Stroke. Recovery doesn't end at discharge. We work on walking, balance, arm and hand use, and getting around your home safely. Learn more about in-home stroke rehab.
Parkinson's disease. Using PWR! Moves (Parkinson Wellness Recovery), we focus on big, purposeful movement to help with shuffling, freezing, balance, and getting up from a chair.
Multiple sclerosis (MS). We build strength and balance while respecting fatigue and heat sensitivity, so you have energy left for the rest of your day.
Brain injury. We help with balance, walking, dizziness, and the everyday tasks that feel harder after a brain injury, at a pace that respects your energy and focus.
Spinal cord injury. We work on transfers, mobility, strength, and equipment so you can be more independent in your own home.
It's not too late to improve
Many people are told progress stops a few months after a stroke or brain injury. Months or even years later, you can still make progress with the right, targeted practice. If you or your loved one still has goals, let's talk.
Why neurologic therapy works better at home
We practice the real thing. Getting off your own couch, up your own stairs, and into your own shower carries over to daily life far better than practicing on a clinic mat.
No exhausting car rides. Fatigue is real with stroke, Parkinson's, and MS. Saving your energy for therapy instead of travel means better sessions.
Family learns alongside you. Caregivers learn how to help safely, without doing too much or too little.
We spot home safety risks. As a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist, Jaime can recommend practical changes like grab bars, better lighting, or moving a loose rug.
What we work on:
Walking and gait training, including with a cane, walker, or AFO
Balance and fall prevention
Strength and coordination
Transfers: bed, chair, toilet, and car
Stairs and getting in and out of the house
Big, purposeful PWR! Moves exercises for Parkinson's
Managing fatigue and conserving energy
Arm and hand use for everyday tasks
A home exercise program you'll actually do
Who you'll see
Your therapist is Jaime Pierson, PT, DPT, a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS) through NeuroRecovery Unlimited and certified in Parkinson Wellness Recovery (PWR!). Neuro rehab isn't a side service for us. It's why this practice exists. You'll see the same therapist every visit.
What to expect
Your first visit: We talk about your goals and watch how you move in your own home: getting up, walking, stairs, and the bathroom.
About 60 minutes, one-on-one, every visit. No juggling other patients.
Your doctor stays in the loop. They receive an evaluation summary within 48 hours.
A plan built around you, with regular progress updates and a direct line to your therapist.
"When I got home from 3 months in post-acute care I was told that I'd never walk again (after a traumatic brain injury). Jaime said 'yes you will' and with her support and encouragement I was walking (with a walker) in three months."
