In-Home Physical Therapy FAQs

We provide in-home visits to clients in Gloucester and Camden counties, and serve parts of Atlantic and Burlington counties.

At this time, we are strictly mobile and would serve you in the comfort of your home. In the future, we hope to expand to a physical location.

Great question! New Jersey is a direct access state, so you’re able to be seen by a physical therapist for 30 days without needing a referral from your doctor. After 30 days, we would need to contact your physician to continue your plan of care.

We talk through your goals and look at how you move in your home. Your doctor receives an evaluation summary within 48 hours, with a plan of care ready for signature.

We are in-network with Medicare Part B, but are out-of-network with all other insurance companies.

If you have non-Medicare insurance, we request payment at the time of service, but we can provide you with a superbill (similar to an invoice). This superbill can be submitted to your insurance company for partial reimbursement, but you must have out-of-network benefits with your insurance plan or your claim will likely be denied. If you are unsure if you have out-of-network benefits, we recommend calling the number on the back of your insurance card prior to scheduling your appointment.

If you have Medicare Part B, your visits are billed to Medicare, and you may owe the Part B deductible and 20% coinsurance, unless a supplemental plan covers it.

Our self-pay rates are:

• Physical therapy evaluation: $175

• Physical therapy visit: $125

• Home safety assessment: $250

Yes! Caregiver training is an important part of how we work.

No. Home health is for people who are homebound. We provide outpatient physical therapy that happens to take place in your home, so you do not need to be homebound to see us. You just need to want care that comes to you.

Each visit is about 60 minutes, one-on-one. How many visits you need depends on your condition and your goals. After your first visit, we will give you an honest estimate and a plan, and we will check in on your progress regularly so you always know where you stand.
